Local politicians and ABC leadership, as well as Hofstra University faculty and students, gathered in Studio A of the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication on Wednesday, May 4, to celebrate the launch of the ABC7 Eyewitness News Long Bureau at Hofstra University. The Bureau will serve as the home of ABC7's Long Island coverage and hopes to provide meaningful industry exposure and mentorship experience to student journalists.
